Killunaig Church House is an attractive house full of character and ideal for family holidays and any group of walkers, birdwatchers, fishermen and artists.

The house sleeps 10 and has 5 bedrooms. There are 2 rooms with a double bed, 2 rooms with 2 single beds each and 1 room with a bunk bed. A travel cot is available. There is one bathroom with a large bath and plenty of hot water and one with a new shower.  Both have a loo and basin.  There are 2 further loos and basins

Downstairs is open plan. At one end there are comfortable chairs and sofas around a large wood burning stove. There are 3 fine arched windows making the house light and airy with great views of Ben More and Loch Scridain. We have finally succumbed and have installed WIFI in the house!  There is useful local information and maps plus plenty of books and board games. The other end of the house has a well equipped kitchen next to the dining area which has a lovely big table and pine chairs.

Dogs are welcome.  There is a long drive up to the house which is set within a private and fenced garden.

Bedrooms

  • Bedroom 1 – spacious with double bed and en-suite bathroom.
  • Bedroom 2 – spacious with double bed and basin.
  • Bedroom 3 – spacious with 2 single beds and basin.
  • Bedroom 4 – bunk bed.
  • Bedroom 5 – spacious 2 single beds with basin.

Bathrooms

  • Plenty of really hot water. Ensuite bathroom to bedroom 1 with large old fashioned bath, basin and loo and warm towel rail.
  • Bathroom 2 with lovely new shower, basin and loo and warm towel rail.
  • Loo with basin.
  • Downstairs loo with basin.

Kitchen

Cooker and hob, large fridge, freezer, dish washer, microwave, bread making machine, electric whisk, large saucepans, frying pans and roasting dishes.

Utility Room

Washing machine and tumble dryer.

Sitting Room

2 Attractive and effective woodburning stoves, 2 sofas, 3 large armchairs, window seats, large card table and box of games. Dining area with very large table and benches around 2 sides with wooden chairs round other 2 sides.

Cleaning/towels/linen

House cleaned before arrival. All beds are provided with a duvet  and 2 pillows.  Guests need to bring their own bottom sheet, duvet cover, 2 pillow cases and bath towels. Visitors should also bring beach and dog towels.
